How to Setup Custom Skins In VLC Media Player
- First, you need to download a VLC media player skin from official vlc website. Download one which you like most.
- Then, move the download skin files to any of these locations
On Windows: “C:Program FilesVideoLANVLCskins”
On Linux/Unix: “~/.local/share/vlc/skins2”
- Then, you want to open the VLC Media Player software and click on the Preferences options under the Tools menu options or press Ctrl+P shortcut on your keyboard.

- Now, click on the Interface options and select "Use Custom Skin" options.
- Finally, you have to choose the correct location of your required skin files. Click the Choose button and select the skin file you just copied to that folder.

- After complete all the steps correctly then save and exit VLC media player. Then open it again now you will see the custom skin applied on it.
